Swim Team and Water Polo
Ellie, Jared, Brynn, and Kaitlyn have been doing Eisenhower swim team this summer. We were out of town for most of the meets and didn't practice much, but the kids still did great at our district and city swim meet. At city their team took first place! For 13 years another team has been winning first, but they broke that! Jared and Brynn decided to try water polo as well as swimming this year. Their championship was a few weeks ago and they took 5th place.
Children's Music Theater
All of the kids except for the twins did CMT this year. The theme was "Proud to be an American" and the kids sang and danced to patriotic songs. They had so much fun!

Utah
We drove up to Southern Utah on Thursday night. The drive was definitely not easy, especially with two little girls who scream when they don't get their way, but we made it. We slept the night in a little cabin that was a few minutes away from the Esplin Ranch.

In the morning we drove up there where we saw some of our cousins who had stayed the night in tents. It was so nice to see family after such a long time, and everyone was able to make it up there. The kids LOVED four-wheeling, riding the side-by-side, shooting BB guns, riding horses, and playing with cousins. The older cousins even slept in a fort they made out of logs! They had quite the night.

After our reunion we drove to Saratoga Springs to see our other family. The twins were spoiled by both families and loved all the attention. We got to see Great-Grandma and Grandpa Porter and Great-Grandma Asay. For one of the meals we thought it would be easier to dress up as cows and get free Chick-Fil-A food than making dinner, so we did! It was so much fun and we got our food pretty fast. We also visited our uncle and surprised our aunt with a birthday cupcake at BYU, fed some ducks, and visited all of our cousins houses, but we didn't get pictures of that. The whole trip was so much fun!
Ellie's Baptism
Ellie turned 8 so she was able to get baptized on June 6th! Grandma and Grandpa Porter and Caleb got to come to her baptism. Caleb had only gotten home from his mission a few days before but was glad to come. Ellie was able to invite some of her friends to her baptism and they came! It was such a neat experience for her. After her baptism we went and ate at Golden Corral. We were so glad some family could come out for her baptism and we loved the company!
