More Utah

Here are some more pictures from Utah that I found.
We went to BYU because you have to go when you are in Provo!

We went with Brian and Carolyn and met Abby there.

We went to BYU again with all the Porters

We smashed pennies too.

Kameron, Ellie, and a Bree
We also went to a few splash pads. I believe it was 3 times.

Ellie and Kate with the twins at a splash pad
Playing, Ellie and Kate are dressed up for the fake wedding we put on.
It is kind of a tradition.

All the cousins on the trampoline eating ice cream
We had so much fun!

Summer Catch-Up #4: Blessing

The twins were blessed in May when they were 3 months old. Our Grandpa Esplin got to come down from Utah and be part of the blessing, which was very special. They were so small in their blessing dresses that our Grandma Porter made. They are so much fun and I can't believe they are almost 7 months now!

Summer Catch-Up #3: Swimming

We have continued doing Swim Team this summer and I love it! It is so fun and the coaches are awesome. Ellie did it this year and even qualified in backstroke to go to the city meet.

Getting Dunkin Donuts after our first swim meet.
After we got Dunkin Donuts we went over to Maurice's to get some clothes that were on sale. Brynn didn't bring a change of clothes so she had to go to the mall with Jared's shirt on and a towel wrapped around her. What a sight!

Summer Catch-Up #2:Balloon Fiesta

I know Balloon Fiesta was almost a year ago, and doesn't have anything to do with the summer, but we finally had time to finish this blog draft so here goes! For Balloon Fiesta, Hannah and her family came out. It was really great, and for one of the first times we went to both the Mass Ascension and the Glow. We had so much fun chasing balloons and seeing them launch off.

APS schools got Friday off for Fall Break so we woke up early and drove to the Mass Ascension and into the parking lot. The balloons looked so cool flying up into the sky.

Mass Ascension:

Unfortunately when we arrived at the Glow it was too windy for the balloons to go up and "glow" but we stayed because we could easily run around getting balloon trading cards. We love collecting cards every year and the cousins were excited to get them too. Because there were no balloons up it was super easy to see who was handing out cards and lots of people were not there to take them, but in my family the kids are not as open to talk to strangers. Luckily cute little Sam does not have that problem so you could often hear us go,"Hey Sam you see those guys over there, I wonder if they have cards!" At this Sam would run over and ask for cards for everyone. They were really successful with getting a bunch of cards thanks to Sam.

We had so much fun and can't wait for the next Balloon Fiesta in a few months! Thanks for visiting Andersens!

Our Summer Catch-Up #1: Utah

We got to go to Utah after school got out! We were so excited to show the little twins off to our family who hadn't seen them when we they were little!

On a walk

Jared also got baptized with his cousin Sam while we were in Utah. It was so great to have all of our family there at his baptism.

 At lunch after the baptism:

Bree with great grandma and grandpa

Caleb had his farewell the day after the baptism. Almost all of our family was there. Caleb's heading off to the Lubbock, Texas Spanish speaking mission!

Caleb and Kylie

We had so much fun hiking!

Counting the million pennies grandma kept. I think it came out to $83.43 but I don't know the exact change.

Great Grandma and Grandpa porter took us to a donut shop and bought us all a donut. It was really great because there was a lot of room and we were the only people there. There were also games that you could play.

Jared and Sam playing checkers.

Then we went to Harriman Beach.

We also went to Vivian Park and put some pennies on the track for the train to smash them and then we played in the water.

The water was SUPER cold!

We also celebrated Lea's Birthday but I don't have any pictures at the moment.

Livy and Jesse with our twins

We had an amazing time in Utah and I wish we got more pictures of us playing with cousins and family! We cant wait to come back again!
