Partners In Crime

Already 14 months old!
These two may look innocent, but think again! They are double trouble! They are always getting into everything, and making us laugh. Here are some of their favorite things they do (keep in mind there is much more they are capable of!)

1.They love sneaking into anyone's drawer to see what they have stashed in there! They have learned to open all the cabinets and drawers and get into a lot of trouble with them. Bree got into some rubbing alcohol this week and we thought she drank it because it was all over her clothes! (I don't think she did)

2. The toilet is one of their absolute favorite. We'll find all sorts of things in there if we don't shut the door. Sometimes our house will become quiet-and then all the sudden all you hear is splashing. They also love pulling out all the toilet paper-and then we still have to use it. So, I apologize if you come to our house and you're going to the bathroom and there's a big clump of toilet paper on the counter, and nothing else.

3. Another thing they love doing is getting into their clothes. The number one sign they're getting into trouble is the door is closed and its quiet. Notice Kylie with the clothes on her head-they do that all the time! They are always stealing our things and hiding them off somewhere (many times that somewhere is the trash so we always have to check it before we take it out).  We are still looking for our checkbook which could very well be in the dump by now.

4. They love tearing things apart and throwing it everywhere to make a big mess. They get into so much trouble! We call them the "Tornadoes" because everywhere they go they leave destruction in their path.

5.Ahhh...the food. They will go to the pantry and take what ever they see and can reach. We've had an accident with vinegar already-and learned to make sure the lid is secure. They love getting cereal and shaking it all out. They also enjoy eating raw potatoes out of the pantry, because they can reach them.

6. They love getting into everyone's room and destroying their things. They will be very quiet, steal the best things, ruin everything else, and run away for the victim to discover later. We just found Kaitlyn's glasses in the laundry basket.

7. They love going outside and doing all they can to get there. They always will try to escape outside whenever anyone comes to our house. They love climbing things and will climb anything (seriously-anything. Kylie tried to climb the lawnmower and Bree tried to climb up a bush).

8. They will stick anything in their mouths, no matter what it is! Kylie enjoys eating parsley all the time. You always know when there is something in their mouth because they get this little grin. They are definitely very busy girls.

Quotes

Sorry there is not so many-I haven't been collecting them and don't remember some of them.

Kaitlyn: Mom! Can I have ice cream and hot chocolate.
Mom: No, I already told you that.
Kaitlyn: Ahh....But the hot and cold are both so intense, put them together it just makes sense!
(Quoting Frozen)

Nathan: Those are Hens and roosters!
(Chicks and Hens---The plant)

Nathan had three roli-poli's but later he only came in with one
Mom: What happened to the other two?
Nathan: Well, I stepped on one, and Kylie took the other one.
Mom: Oh, what did she do with it?  She didn't eat it, did she?
Nathan: No....well I don't think she ate it.

Kaitlyn had left some of her stuff out and (of course) the twins got into it. She realized they had gotten into her Candy Cane chap stick and was upset. Mom, thinking she was upset because she liked the way it felt said, "Well I have some that feels just like that." Kaitlyn replied, "Mom, I don't like how it feels, I like how it looks.

Ellie: Jared and Brynn are claraling!
Kaitlyn: Excuse me?
Ellie: Jared and Brynn are claraling with each other!
(I think she meant quarreling.)

When we were on our trip (Ya--along time ago) Brynn threw a cracker out the window (with no apparent reason).
Nathan: Wow! Now it will fly all the way down to EARTH!!

Kaitlyn was walking by with a banana and Kylie saw her, she quickly squealed, "UH OH! Nana, nana!"
(Don't know what the "uh oh" was about, but it was cute.)

Nate: But mom, the sun isn't down yet, so we can read two books before bed.

After listening to a discussion about what to do about Aubree, who had possibly drunken the rubbing alcohol.  Nathan replied with a very serious face, "Alcohol, we don't drink alcohol!" Trying not to laugh, we had to tell him that it's not that kind of alcohol-but we still do not drink it.

Abby and Kameron

Abby and Kameron came to visit us for Presidents day! We had so much fun! We went to Tent Rocks for the day, and had a great time. We also went shopping and just hung out. We loved having them here. At first the twins had a hard time, but then they couldn't stop cuddling Kameron.  (Bree loves being around boys.)

Not sure what they're doing here.

Thanks for visiting us!!

Quotes

(Kaitlyn came downstairs one morning and had not done her hair so it was crazy)
Jared: Wow, you are having a hair crisis
(Thanks Jared, just what she needs to hear in the morning)

 Kaitlyn: I'm going to have a pre-salad
(We were having salad for dinner and Kaitlyn was getting hungry)

Nate: Dad, I'm having a hard time.
Dad: Oh.....why? Are you tired?
Nate: Ya

Kaitlyn: Wow, a lot of stores are going out of business...
Mom: Ya, I know.
Kaitlyn: Why...Obamacare?

Jared: Have you noticed all the bad people start with "H." Hobos, hitchhikers, hackers, hippies, and.."
Kaitlyn: (interrupting him) Um.....murderers. That's an "M."

(Kylie gets into the box with our scriptures in it and one time she started eating them.)
Brynn: Kylie's feasting on the words of Christ--literally.

Nate was trying to watch a show and the girls were crying
Nate: MOM! Can you turn down the babies!

(After being gone all day at a friend's house, Mom asked Nate if he missed her, because she missed him.)
Nate: Well, I was having too much fun, so I didn't miss you.

Mom doing a silly dance to make the twins quiet
Nate: (quietly and under his breath) Weirdo!

Kaitlyn: There was this new girl at school today, and then I saw her at Deseret Book. I think she's Mormon. Can you look her up.

While looking up some information on our upcoming trip to Aspen Grove this summer, we were reading what Kaitlyn's group (Teen) would do. It said something like the Teens would get to meet new people while having fun. Brynn laughed and said, "Haha, Kaitlyn has to meet new people! I don't!"

In honor of the Olympics, and a scout thing Jared did, the kids made up a game for bobsledding. They will get on a wiggle car (A small toy car) and one person will steer, while the other person runs and pushes them then jumps on this car too. They start on the top of our cul-de-sac and go down to the bottom. (For those of you who have not been to our house our cul-de-sac is pretty steep and you gain a lot of speed going down)
One day, Jared and Nate were showing Mom this bobsledding, and were going down the hill as fast as they could, and flew off. Mom asked them if that happened all the time, because it seemed pretty dangerous. Nate replied, "That's why we wear helmet's Mom!"

Brynn: I'm an experienced stalker, I find somebody's blog, then figure out if they are Mormon!

Already One!

Once upon a time....

Two sweet little girls were born, and they were cute.

They were also bald...

And, they went through a lot....

(Like being put in the garden)

(Getting stuck in a box)

(And being held by Joe)

But they were still cute....and bald.

And now they're one!

And they are still adorable, and are getting some more hair. (Its blond so you cant see it that well---but still, it's there!)

I can't believe a year has gone by since these cute girls were born. They are absolutely the sweetest girls ever! They get in to a ton of trouble, but are so funny! They copy everything that you say. They eat everything they can find, and will give you kisses, and blow kisses:)

Happy 1st Birthday girls!!!!!!

Christmas Eve And Christmas

For Christmas Eve, we had shepherds dinner(like always). Each year the shepherds get more and more advanced. This year we started off playing Just Dance on the Wii, and the grown ups sat at the table, and not on the floor. We also had shrimp! The Cardiff's and McEntires got to come over to celebrate with us. We had a blast!

We had an awesome Christmas! We did not get a lot of pictures, because we were videoing but we got a bunch of cute ones with the twins and their presents.

Our Cute Little Girls

Here are some ADORABLE pictures of our little girls, who will be one in two weeks! Valerie took them when we saw her family up in Utah! They look so professional-but were really just taken in Grandma's kitchen. (We fed them Froot Loops to keep them happy, so that is what they are stuffing in their mouths.)

(Kylie is on the left for these pictures.)

Kylie:

They will never keep their bows on for long

Bree:

 Thanks Val:)
